The Legacy of STIF – Pet Care
Our solutions are inspired by a unique technology developed in 1992 by Dr. J.P. Laboureau, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the human knee.
Building on his invention — a synthetic ligament made of "free fibers" (LARS) — and over 30 years of experience in human orthopedic surgery, we have adapted this technology specifically for veterinary use, in order to improve the surgical treatment of ligament and tendon injuries in animals.

Innovation at the heart of our DNA
Founded in 2010, STIF - Pet Care dedicated over seven years to research and development in collaboration with veterinarians to refine and adapt this technology for veterinary surgery.
Since 2018, we have been offering next-generation synthetic implants made of free fibers, designed to treat ligament and tendon pathologies in animals through minimally invasive reconstruction techniques.
Our implants offer unmatched biocompatibility and mechanical strength to date.
