ESVOT Congress – Results of 107 CCL reconstructions with postoperative follow-up available between 1 and 7 years – October 2023
CRANIAL CRUCIATE LIGAMENT INJURIES IN DOGS AND CATS – INTRA ARTICULAR RECONSTRUCTION WITH UHMWPE MEDICAL GRADE FREE FIBERS SYNTHETIC IMPLANT – RESULTS
The CrCL intra artiular reconstruction with the Z-lig implant gave good to excellent results in 97% of cases.
The method restores stability of the stifle and does not create any irreversible situation in case of complication. Only bony tunnels are drilled. The fast recovery and the easy post-operative period are the two major advantages for the owners.
Intra-articular Z-lig implant restores feline stifle stability in an ex vivo cruciate insufficiency model – Université de Copenhague – Mars 2023
Objective : To determine stifle joint stability after intra-articular reconstruction (IAR) of the transected cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) using an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene graft (Z-Lig) in a novel limb press model, and to report simulated muscle force ratios before and aer repair.
Repair of chronic rupture of the insertion of the gastrocnemius tendon in the dog using a polyethylene terephthalate implant (clinical communication – Vet Comp Orthop Traumatol 3 – Schattauer – 2015)
In this retrospective study, clinical records were evaluated to assess long-term outcomes and complications. The surgical technique is also described.
Rupture du ligament croisé crânial (P. BUTTIN – 2014)
This technique combines the advantages of the two previous categories with a more biological approach to pathology, and is also the most costly due to the price of the prosthesis.
peu de risque de complications sérieuses récupération fonctionnelle rapide.
